Fast Eddy blitzes season opener

On Saturday 11 January 2014 Edwina Sutton devoured the 44mile Country 2 Capital ultra race to win the women’s competition in 5 hours and 42 minutes.

‘Ed’ took almost thirty minutes off the previous record on her way to the unveiling of her huge talent.

Rapid rise, with help from Profeet

At the back end of last year the Profeet Run Lab was contacted by our partners, Centurion Running, about a new ultra running starlet they had just signed up and who needed a bit of help with her feet.

What we then witnessed in the shop was a seriously good runner and it felt like we had found this little secret that nobody really knew about yet.

Profeet run manager Richard was at the finish line to congratulate her and was delighted to hear her say she had ‘no foot issues at all’.

We fitted Edwina to the Saucony Peregrine 3 and prescribed some foot exercises, we obviously take pride in her performance, but no credit…this was all due to Edwina’s talent.

Look out for her through 2014.
