Brooks Ghost 10 VS Brooks Glycerin 15 - Profeet shoe review

We compare two new Brooks Running shoes – Ghost 10 and Glycerin 15

Ghost 10

  • 24-12mm stack height
  • £120
  • Road Running
  • Weight: 294g
  • Neutral

The new Brooks Ghost 10 upper is made from engineered Air Mesh and 3D fit print. It is light weight and has a seamless feel. The midsole is made of BioMoGo cushioning (firmer meaning slightly more stable). It has a segmented heel crash pad to cushion initial contact and for a smooth heel to toe transition.

Glycerin 15

  • 24-14mm stack height
  • £135
  • Road Running
  • Weight: 300.5g
  • Neutral

The new Brooks Glycerin has 3d fit print upper but also a 4 way stretch upper which offers a sleek and streamlined fit. The midsole has Super DNA Midsole (far softer midsole) which provides 25% more cushioning than any other Brooks shoe. A full length crash pad, allows very soft initial contact but along the whole lateral border of the shoe.

Profeet Review

“Overall, these two shoes have had great updates. A key difference which will always exist is that the Ghost as a model is inherently more stable, as a reliable firm neutral shoe. In contrast, the Glycerin is for a far more neutral or even supinated foot. Both shoes are functionally individual and will rival those in the same support category from other brands – namely the Asics Nimbus 20 and Cumulus 19.”
