How to lace running shoes for a high instep [video, 1:00] -

Richard from the Profeet Run Lab explains how to lace running shoes for a high instep, or a high volume foot.

This lacing technique is particularly good for pain across the top of the foot, whether that’s from a high instep or you have a high volume foot, and will be able to relieve a lot of tension.

What we are trying to do with this technique, is to create a little window for our foot to flex through.

This is normally done around the 3rd or 4th eyelet, then lacing normally to the top.

This keeps it nice and tight at the top, but allows space for the foot to flex in the middle of the shoe.
