Profeet thoughts: The Locarno is a great merge between a good hill walking boot and an urban casual walker. In contrast to other boots in the same category, the lightness of the boot is unrivalled. Many of our female customers love the fit and feel without the restriction which can come with other ankle boots.
Upper is made from a nubuck leather and fabric around the ankle. This means great durability, but also great comfort around the cuff of the boot. The combination of this plus the gortex lining makes it such a great versatile boot. Around the heel there is a monowrap support frame help give more rearfoot hold.
The midsole and the outsole in Lowa’s very own Hybrib Trac giving great traction for hill walking.
