“The Renegade Mid is a great all-round boot. It can tackle most terrain and feels very stable underfoot. Rain is no issue as the boots stay dry from the Gore-Tex membrane. It really gives a great lower leg hold when walking over multiple days due to how high the cuff is situated around the ankle – giving good support over uneven terrain. A very comfortable fit for the slightly wider foot.”
- The heel of the boot is tapered in to give optimum hold around the Achilles area and prevent heel slip.
- The buckles on this boot are strong and the buckle that sits closest to the ankle joint is set further back to truly hold the heel in place.
- The outsole of the Renegade Mid is highly durable Vibram non-slip rubber with an EVO sole.
- This boot’s overall fit is fairly wide through the mid-foot and forefoot. The toe area narrows slightly towards the end, but overall it’s a generous fit.
