Profeet Ski Manager Frazer Shand skied in this boot earlier this year and this is his review of the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD:

I felt a great ankle and foot hold. The midfoot is fairly generous in width. Has a fantastic walk function although at time of testing the liner could have done with some improvements, which has now been altered. Overall, the best boot I have tested this year!

The Atomic Hawx XTD has a progressive shell – reinforced in key zones of wear, but with reduced weight overall. The rigidity of the plastic allows the user to transfer power to the ski, whilst giving comfort and safety. It has a Grilamid cuff and shell (PU cuff on 90).

The boot has memory fit. This makes both the shell and liner easy to adapt when we go through the Profeet fitting process. The women’s liner is a women’s specific fit. This means it is shorter and slightly warmer.

The 54° range of motion and ultra-light weight materials provide the mobility to make this a great, dynamic new touring boot.

The Atomic Hawx XTD ski boot comes with a Skywalk WTR touring sole and Dynafit certified tech inserts.
