Wings for Life, Spinal Cord Research Foundation, 7th May 2017

This race is like no other and is open for anyone to enter. From running to walking, for young and old-it is all about inclusion. For these reasons it is one our favourite events each year.

The Race this year is taking place on May 7th in Cambridge at 12pm. All over the world at exactly the same time races will start. The Wings for Life World Run truly is a global event- a community of people all running at the same time to raise money for an amazing charity!

How does the race work?
The race starts worldwide at the same time. Exactly 30 minutes later, the “Catcher Car is released and becomes a moving finish line. Gradually the car will speed up and when it catches you your race is over. To give you an idea of time, to reach 10km before the car catch you, your pace must be 7min/km or faster (1hr 10 times wise). Once the race is over the celebrations begin!

Team Profeet are taking part in the event again this year and we’d love you to join our team and be a part of this great day! It is why this year we have two places to win on each of our social media sites: so six in total across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Stay tuned during the first week of April when we will be announcing the competitions going live across our accounts.

Look forward to seeing you all there!

We’re proud to be taking part in the Wings for Life World Run and hope you can join us too and raise as many funds as possible for this important and life changing research
