Wins for Team Profeet at the Thames Path 100 & Conti Lightning Run -

Last weekend was a great success for Team Profeet athletes.

Leading the way was Max Wilcocks, who won the Thames Path 100 – one of the classic one hundred mile ultra marathons in the UK.

Max won the Richmond to Oxford race in 16 hr 35 mins 11 secs.

Also taking part for the Profeet team was Chris Howe, who finished in 18th place.  He probably should have finished higher, but the sub-3 hour London Marathon one week before might have taken a bit out of him!

Meanwhile Pip Blackburn, who recently took 2nd place at the South Downs Way 50, was taking part at the Conti Lightning Run – a 12 hour ultra running event.

Pip managed 75 miles in the twelve hours – a superb results in difficult running conditions.

He later kindly Tweeted his thanks to Profeet Run Lab team: ‘I wouldn’t have been injury free. let alone fit without the rehab.’

Thanks Pip and keep up the good work.

Well done to all the Profeet team runners and everyone else who took part.
