For 25 years, the Profeet Fit has combined detailed assessment, specialist product knowledge and individual customisation. Although every appointment is adapted to the customer and their activity, our approach is built around three essential stages.
UNDERSTAND AND ASSESS
Every Profeet fit begins with you.
We take the time to understand your activity, experience, goals, preferred terrain and any previous footwear or fit problems. We then assess the shape, dimensions and function of your feet and lower limbs.
The Profeet Custom Fit includes a full biomechanical assessment including, foot measurement, functional movement assessment, gait analysis, plantar pressure scanning and an evaluation of ankle mobility and lower-limb alignment.
This gives us a clearer understanding of what you need from your footwear.
SELECT THE RIGHT FOOTWEAR SOLUTION
We combine your assessment findings with our detailed knowledge of running shoes, walking footwear and ski boots to identify the most appropriate options for you.
Our recommendations are based on factors such as foot shape, volume, intended use, movement, comfort and performance requirements, not simply brand, appearance or what happens to be popular.
For running and hiking, you will be able to compare suitable footwear and assess how different options feel. For skiing, we use your foot shape, lower-limb assessment, skiing ability and terrain preferences to select the most appropriate ski boot shell and fit.
CUSTOMISE, REFINE AND SUPPORT
In your appointment we create a pair of Profeet custom insoles moulded to your feet and tailored to work with your chosen footwear and biomechanics. These are designed to improve support, stability, foothold and the connection between your feet and your shoes or boots.
For ski customers, the fitting process may also include individual work to the boot shell, liner and overall setup to refine comfort and performance.
Our support continues after your appointment. Eligible footwear, ski boots and custom insoles are supported by the relevant Profeet Fit Guarantee, providing access to further fitting advice, refinements and adjustments where required.

For more than 25 years, the Run Custom appointment has been the service at the heart of Profeet. It’s where our reputation for expert running shoe fitting began and remains the most complete running assessment we offer.
We believe finding the right running shoes is about far more than watching someone run on a treadmill. Every runner moves differently, has different goals and responds differently to footwear. That’s why every Run Pro appointment starts with understanding you.
During your appointment, we’ll assess how your body moves and how its individual components work together. Using functional movement assessment, video gait analysis and dynamic pressure analysis, we build a detailed understanding of how you move and what you need from your footwear.
We’ll then guide you through a carefully selected range of running shoes, helping you understand which models are most likely to work for your biomechanics, running style and goals. Sometimes that’s the shoe you came in for, sometimes its one you hadn’t considered. Either way, every recommendation is based on how you move rather than what is simply new or popular.
Once we’ve found the right shoe, we’ll design and manufacture a pair of Profeet Custom Insoles specifically for you. We believe shoes and insoles should be selected together as one complete system, creating a personalised solution that’s built around you.

Our Hike Custom Assessment is a one-to-one process that delivers the most complete footwear, insole fitting, and comfort solution available. This service is suitable for walking, hiking, trekking, and individuals who spend time on their feet and want to increase comfort or improve performance.
Please wear trousers that can be rolled up to allow boot fitting directly to the leg i.e. no fabric tucked inside boots.

Your body adapts, footwear settles, and real performance only happens once you’ve spent time using your footwear and/or custom insoles in the real world. That’s why our support continues after you leave the store.
If something doesn’t feel quite right, we encourage you to come back and see us. During the first 90 days from the date of purchase, we’ll provide free fit-related assessments, refinements and adjustments to help optimise comfort, fit and performance.
If, after assessment and reasonable adjustments, we are unable to achieve the right outcome, we may offer one of two clear routes depending on the product: a custom-fitted footwear exchange within 30 days of purchase, or a 90-day money-back guarantee for custom insoles, excluding the original appointment fee.

Ski Custom
Our complete custom ski boot fitting appointment for most skiers. Ski Custom includes detailed foot and lower-limb assessment, plantar pressure analysis, expert ski boot selection, boot fitting and the fabrication of Profeet Custom Ski Insoles.
This is the best option if you want expert help choosing the right ski boots and a personalised fit built around your foot shape, biomechanics and skiing needs.
Includes:

- – Expert ski boot selection
- – Boot selection and modification where required.
- – Fabrication of Profeet Custom Ski Insoles.

At Profeet, your ski boot fitting doesn’t end when you leave the shop – it begins when you ski.
Every pair of ski boots fitted by us comes with our Ski Fit Guarantee, giving you ongoing support to help maintain comfort and performance on the mountain. Follow-up appointments and refinements are a normal part of the boot fitting process, which is why we include up to 6 years of complimentary fit adjustments from the date of purchase.
If your boots are not performing as expected, we’ll work with you to assess, refine and optimise the fit. If, despite our best efforts, we are unable to achieve the level of fit we expect, we may offer an exchange to an alternative model within the first 2 years of purchase.

Appointment time length can vary slightly depending on individual requirements. If you arrive late, we may need to alter the assessment to suit the available time or to rebook you an alternative date and time.
Additional insoles can be purchased during your appointment. However, may not be possible to finish more than one pair during an appointment and later collection or posting may be necessary.
Ski boots, walking boots or shoes and other footwear are charged separately and not included in the Assessment cost.
