At the Profeet Ski Boot Lab, we’ve been busy taking delivery of the latest ski boots for the coming ski season from:

Always an exciting time of year for our ski boot technicians, the new stock is arriving daily and filling up the stock room. We can’t resist opening the boxes to check out how the new models fit and seeing what we can do to tweak them for our customers.

There are always some interesting new developments and tech, alongside the mainstay popular favourites whose core design can hold their own for years. New season’s updates often feature buckle and walking mechanism upgrades or tweaks to shell construction and materials providing functional improvements. Not to mention improvements to liners for fit, foothold and comfort, plus general performance enhancements.

SALOMON SUPRA BOA

Take the Salomon Supra BOA with its funky forefoot closure system. This made a preview appearance earlier this year and is now available in new colours and as a touring version, all of which promise to fly off the shelves this season.

ATOMIC ULTRA XTD FREERIDE TOURING

You’ll also find this BOA system in the Atomic touring boot range. Designed to improve the distribution of forefoot hold, for a better fit without restricting circulation, the BOA is the new kid on the block.
