Konrad Bartelski visits Profeet before Thames Path Challenge -

We were delighted to welcome ex-Team GB Alpine Skier, Konrad Bartelski, into Profeet this week.

Konrad – who recorded the highest ever finish for a Briton in a downhill race – 2nd at Val Gardena in 1981 – came in for a reassessment.

Our assessment showed his insoles were perfect, but needed new shoes. He will be using Brooks Cascadia trail shoes with and some new Merino Teko socks to avoid blisters

Thames Path Challenge
He has previously visited us for ski boots before, but this time he was interested in making sure his feet are in the best possible shape for the 100Km Thames Path Challenge on the 13th September.

Konrad is doing the walk from Putney to Henley to raise funds for the charity The Back Up Trust.
