Coming up on Saturday 22 October 2016 is an essential event for anyone competing in, or thinking about entering, the Marathon des Sables – – the Marathon des Sables Expo in London.
A chance to learn from the experts
Promoted as the ‘world’s toughest footrace’, the 5th edition of this Expo offers a chance to listen to speakers sharing their knowledge of the event, participate in workshops and purchase some of the essentials you’ll need for the event.
Speakers include Olympic gold medal winning James Cracknell, Profeet ambassador and 12-time MdS finisher Rory Coleman and 5-time first Brit Danny Kendall.
Expert Advice from Profeet
Among the experts, there will be a chance to meet and talk to Profeet Run Lab Manager, Dan Cracknell, and other technicians from Profeet.
They will be available to answer questions about the best footwear for the Marathon des Sables and how to deal with issues such as blister prevention.
Profeet has previously helped numerous customers complete the MdS, including celebrities such as Olympic skier Graham Bell, adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and actor Mark Lewis Jones.

Tickets for Expo MdS 2015 are free to 2016 competitors (who also receive an exclusive free backpack). There is a £50 deposit payable which will be refunded to all confirmed competitors.
