In July the Profeet Run Lab went on their annual pilgrimage to Chamonix for a few days of testing footwear and running.
Testing new trail shoes
The team tested new shoes from Nike Running, On Running, LaSportiva, Brooks and Asics – all to build their own product knowledge and ensure that they can make the best recommendations for our customers.
Up, up and up!
The first run was a tester in itself – a 5 kilometre loop, with 420m of vertical climb all in 50 minutes! “It was a great run and all the shoes and insoles did their job,” said Profeet Run Lab manager Rich Felton.
The initial trials were followed by more climbing, with another ascent of over 450m – welcome to Chamonix!
There was also time for some R&R and the team also did a hike up to one of Chamonix’s glaciers one morning.
All in all, some great runs and great training. Now the team are back in London to help all you runners.
