We were delighted to welcome in up and coming Team GB pole vaulter Jess Robinson last week.
Team GB athlete
Jess recently jumped 4.05 metres and qualified for Team GB for the 2016 European Youth Championships in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The talented youngster trains with at the Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Athletics Club, where she is coached by Ellie Spain.
Number 1 in the UK
Despite being the youngest in her age group, Jess is the top ranked u/20 pole vaulter in the UK.
Her coach recently said of Jess that:
“Ellie said: Jess is a determined and committed athlete. As well as high-level physical attributes, she is a competitor and thrives at big competitions – the hallmark of a young athlete who has the potential to grow into a world class senior.”
Jess’s goal is to compete at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. We wish her all the best in her training and progress towards that.
