Profeet thoughts: The updated GTS has markedly moved away from previous models and the more traditional posted support shoes. The introduction of guide rails has marginally increased the weight of the shoe and shifted the focus beyond the feet, to the most injury-prone part of a runner’s body – the knees. Therefore this is a good option for people who need support and guidance through the knees and hips.

  1. The new DNA LOFT maintains Brooks’ signature DNA midsole qualities, instantly adapting to the runners’ individual stride, weight and speed but provides a softer and more protected experience.
  2. Engineered mesh and the 3D Fit Print upper provide the structure above the foot while still allowing accommodation for the foot to splay while running.
  3. The GTS 19 has introduced “GuideRails Holistic support system” which aims to shift the focus away from just the foot and introduce guidance to the knee by encouraging the body to move in its preferred motion pathway.
  4. The Adrenaline GTS follow the traditional Brooks shape with a wider toe-box for those with a wider foot while maintaining a narrower midfoot to increase contact before guide railing begins.
