Hermione Plumptre reports back on how Profeet has transformed her athletic career

As an athlete, I was very lucky to find Profeet when I did. Having had a multitude of injuries and setbacks due to what I found out was a sizeable leg length discrepancy, I was beginning to think the career I was dreaming of would never happen. Having done some research in finding Profeet, it was clear they stood out to me as somewhere that would make the insoles I required fit for purpose not just fit to fix the problem. I wanted to have insoles that not only helped my discomfort but fitted well too. Training shoes and spikes for track were essential for me to continue my training to the best of my ability.

So, after a few email conversations and phone calls, I went down to the shop for my consultation and testing day. When I arrived, I explained everything that was happening, and after a very fun afternoon of tests and moulding, I left with my first pair of perfectly fitted insoles for my trainers.

I have since been injury free all season, competing at Loughborough International, British Championships Senior Trials and Senior English Championships to name a few and racing personal bests all season right to my last race. If that isn’t a reflection of a major improvement I don’t know what is! I have recently been back to get two new pairs of insoles for winter and some specially fitted insoles for my spikes.

I want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to the Profeet team. Thanks to them, painful muscular issues I used to have are not a problem. I’m looking forward to seeing what the 2018 season will bring!
