Profeet donating used trainers to ‘Kicks for Kenya’ campaign

What do we do with all those old trainers that our customers leave in Profeet when they walk away with some shiny new trainers?

Profeet are delighted to announce that all old trainers will be donated to DBA Sports’ ‘Kicks for Kenya’ campaign, which supports Sporting Chance International – a charity based in Kenya.

Founder of DBA Sports Storm Trentham and Head of SCI Development & Fundraising has been working on the project for 8 years now:

“The charity helps the young and needy in Kenya through sport, health and education. It is now run from Kenya – but I am excited to launch the DBA Sports Foundation in January so we can fundraise for SCI and other charities.

“We organise a Jigger’s Disease campaign every year and some of the cases are horrendous. The shoes from Profeet will be given to individuals who need treatment and will make a huge difference to prevent sufferers from getting the disease again in the future.”

“Along with this, many of our football, rugby and lacrosse players play barefoot or in school shoes, so we will also donate trainers to them.”
