In an age where we’ve all become acutely aware of our excessive consumption and wastage and the impact it is having on our planet, Profeet has found a way to reuse unwanted trainers with fantastic effect.

Kicks for Kenya
Profeet, supports the ‘Kicks for Kenya’ campaign which helps individuals associated with Sporting Chance International to achieve their dreams. At Profeet we collect and donate our customers’ old trainers to DBA Sports who regularly take them out to Kenya to supply individuals treated with Jiggers Disease and those within SCI’s football and rugby academies along with the Kenya Lacrosse athletes.

Dream Believe Achieve
Storm Trentham is the brains and the driver behind this initiative. DBA Sports specialises in providing quality personalised sports apparel to individual athletes, schools, university clubs and sports teams around the world. They also provide an excellent service in sports motivation, athlete management and sports event management.

An international inspiration, Storm established the Kenya Lacrosse Association in 2009 which gives an opportunity for disadvantaged young people through sport in Western Kenya.

Providing a foothold
This successful foray has given rise to the DBA Foundation that now provides footwear to enable young sportspeople to find their feet and make their way in the sports arena. In a country where many kids often go barefoot, Profeet is proud to play a part and delighted to be able to connect our customers with this programme.
