Robbie Britton takes 3rd at Cappadocia Ultra Trail

This weekend saw a great performance from Profeet ambassador Robbie Britton at the North Face Cappadocia Ultra Trail in Turkey.

Leading from the start

Robbie headed to Turkey with his partner Natalie White, who also competed in and finished 4th female in the 62km race.  He was optimistic before the race, with a great training base after his recent #BlackIce adventure running across Iceland.

Leading from the front

Robbie went out hard from the start and was leading through to the 80km mark. However, he suffered from dehydration after misjudging the time to get to a checkpoint.

Robbie finally came in 3rd in 12:29 – 50 minutes behind Matthias Krah (Germany) and just six minutes behind Andis Rumbenieks (Latvia).
