The Kayano is a staple model for Ascis. Now in its 26th year of production its loyal fan base hope year on year changes won’t be too drastic. This update from last years model is barely noticeable as it is only slight tweaks to the upper that have been changed. The overall feel and ride of the shoe is unchanged.
Still your classically strong rearfoot support shoe!
- The famous Gel cushioning still runs through the rearfoot to the forefoot. There is added FlyteFoam Propel technology throughout the shoe to be more responsive too.
- The updated upper material to the Jacquard mesh aids breathability throughout the shoe. The fit of this shoe is still nice and narrow in the heel for those who need increased retention, with added width as you move to the forefoot!
- The standard trusstic system encourages a high level of stability through the rearfoot as well as the mid foot of this shoe. Plus, the added duomax midsole which is made up of two densities of foams helps further with foot guidance.
- A key feature is that there are no real changes in shape from the 25 to the 26 and the classic Kayano fit and feel remains.
