Running shoe review: New Balance 890v6 -

This revamped 890 has a new upper which looks down through the midfoot and has a classic wider forefoot with wider breathability holes.

Profeet Review: This shoe is a great light responsive ride. The rocker takes you by surprise and you can feel it propelling you forwards with every stride. The fit is close and allows for ample space in the forefoot. For a £100 shoe, it exceeds expectation!

New Balance 890v6
The midsole of the 890 uses New Balances Revlite foam. This foam is a performance foam which is responsive and as it says on the tin, light!

Along with the no-sew material from the engineered mesh, the 890 has a booty-fit construction which adds to the midfoot lockdown of the new upper.

The 890 v6 gives an amazing feel through toe off. There is a noticeable rocker located in the forefoot which substantially aids propulsion for an amazing ride. It is the stand out feature for this shoe.

Within the midsole/outsole of the 890 are two TPU strips which run under the 1st and 5th metatarsal to aid with responsiveness at toe off.
