The Salomon Supra BOA®
First out of the blocks for 2023/4 is the Salomon Supra BOA®, with a very obvious update to forefoot buckling. The stylish looking boots have instant appeal with great colour combinations of lower /upper shell and liner, but the standout feature is the innovative EXOWRAP which takes a new approach to forefoot hold.
The BOA fastening system allows fine-tuneable forefoot wrapping on a wider 100mm last, without crushing the foot. It creates a reassuringly firm hold without cutting off circulation delivering new scope for fit, performance and comfort. Also see our recent blog.
Dynafit Tigard 130 Unisex
The ultimate in ski touring boots, the handmade Dynafit Tigard is aptly described as being as fast as a snow leopard and as strong as a tiger! This is an aggressive boot for experienced and confident skiers effortlessly switching between free touring and alpine skiing.
For easy ascent, the walk mode range offers freedom of movement in a lightweight boot, controlled via the one-handed Hoji lock system. Click into downhill mode and the unique Grilamid material with carbon fibres offers very high rigidity with a progressive flex of 130 for a powerful downhill experience. The Tigard features the sturdy and durable Gripwalk sole and is compatible with frame bindings, tech and alpine bindings for maximum versatility. A beast of a boot that you’ll quickly learn to love.
Tecnica Cochise
The Cochise sets the bar for performance hybrid boots. This boot range has enjoyed great success for over 10 years and rightly so. As always, fit and performance are at the forefront of next seasons Tecnica range but the Cochise handles the touring/alpine combination with finesse.
Flexibility and light weight coupled with the Gripwalk sole make this boot a comfortable touring boot compatible with tech binding inserts. Flip down the T-Ride rear lock and you’re into alpine mode where the positive foothold, stiff flex and control surpass expectations. A great all-rounder ready to deliver big smiles.
