The Profeet Ski Tech Team prepare for the season

The Profeet Ski Lab staff have just finished their annual intensive preseason training.

This year we believe we’ve put together our best team yet, with Rosie, Mark and Drew joining Janine, Bernie, Frazer, Johan, Oz and our resident podiatrist Paul O’Malley (MSc Biomechanics, BSc Podiatry).

Anatomy and physiology

 

Training started off with Paul teaching the team about anatomy and physiology, before they moved on to the specialism ski boot fitting.

Visits to Salomon and Sidas

 

The programme included a trip to France for a visit to the Salomon Annecy Design Centre. Our boot fitters met the Salomon ski boot R&D team and looked at how ski boots are developed and made.

This was followed by a visit to our insole partner Sidas, for custom insoles and ski boot fitting training with World Cup level ski boot technicians.

Wakeboarding in Annecy

 

Along the way the Profeet team, had some fun and managed to squeeze in some wakeboarding. The picture below shows Ski Manager Janine on Lake Annecy.
